Organic Field?Effect Transistors Based on Ternary Blends Including a Fluorinated Polymer for Achieving Enhanced Device Stability

The stability of organic semiconductors (OSCs) is strongly hampered by the presence water molecules. One approach that has been proved to lead field-effect transistors with an enhanced performance use blends OSCs insulating binding polymers. In this work, fabrication OSC thin films based on polymeric ternary including a hydrophobic fluorinated polymer reported as novel route engineer long-term reliable (OFET) devices. particular, OFETs bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene (TIPS) polystyrene (PS) and poly(pentafluorostyrene) (PFS) are explored. PS:PFS ratio tuned in order find optimum formulation. It shown 20% PFS blend exhibit improved device performance, which reflected low bias stress exceptional environmental stability, without significantly hampering OFET mobility.
